Emergency services

On 14 February 2016, 50 workers were forced to evacuate a Kent Street building in Sydney CBD due to a fire sparked by a computer.

According to a Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman, six fire crews were dispatched to the Kent Street building around Sunday noon.

The flame was successfully dowsed but Sussex Street remained closed on the day in both directions.

Public transports had to be diverted and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
