Two of our Jim’s Test & Tag franchisors have sponsored the Woolamai Nippers Surf Lifesaving Program for the second year running. Bruce Collins (Gippsland) and Michael Becker (Melbourne South) have pledged their ongoing support to the program and have helped to ensure that young surf enthusiasts have had access to invaluable education and experience.
The 2016/17 program will run for 7 days, commencing on the 29th of December, and concluding on the 5th of January. Each year the program provides hundreds of children with the opportunity to engage in fun activities and competitions, as well as complete simulated rescues and sun smart education activities. The Nippers program provides a point of entry into the surf lifesaving movement whilst promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Through sponsorship, the Woolamai Nippers can provide their participants with access to quality equipment, sun-safe marquees, and merchandise. Children who participate in the program get to make new friends whilst learning water safety and survival skills.
At Jim’s Test & Tag, we are always searching for opportunities to support safety in our local community. We commend our franchisors for being involved in this important initiative, as well as upholding our values of safety and awareness. Good on you Michael & Bruce.
