At Jim’s Test & Tag, we are committed to long-lasting relationships with loyal clients. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the W. Short Hotel Group, who hosted one of our franchise owners in Sydney this year.
Scott Deamer, our East Maitland/Kurri Kurri franchisee, completed routine electrical testing services at the Glenmore Hotel in Sydney Harbour – one of the many hotels managed by the W. Short Hotel Group. Scott couldn’t be more grateful for the invitation to work in such a beautiful venue. He had nothing but positive news to share regarding his experience with the owners and facilities. As an organisation, we’d like to extend our gratitude to the group for their support of our business over the years.
“I have had the pleasure to attend some wonderful businesses and work in environments where it is evident that a welcoming and professional culture exists. One such organisation, that I can’t speak more highly of, is the W. Short Hotel Group.”
Scott Deamer, Jim’s Test & Tag East Maitland/Kurri Kurri
The Short family has been at the heart of the Australian hospitality industry since the 1970’s. The group was founded by husband and wife team – Warwick and Ros Short. Together they managed and owned a number of venues including The Stoned Crow, Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel, The Marlborough in Newtown, and the Racecourse Hotel in Randwick.
Today, the W. Short Hotel Group owns and operates some of the most iconic pubs and hotels in New South Wales. The family run business is responsible for the following notable locations:
→ The Australian Heritage Hotel
→ The Glenmore in The Rocks
→ The Royal Leichhardt
→ Tudor Hotel in Redfern
→ The Seabreeze Beach Hotel in South West Rocks
→ The Toormina Hotel in Coffs Harbour
We’d like to congratulate Scott on his hard work for Jim’s Test & Tag. Mr Deamer has had the opportunity to work at each hotel and has always reported back to our team with enthusiasm regarding his experience with the group. He was particularly impressed with the quality of services available, and the fantastic nature of each unique venue. Completing work on a rooftop bar in Sydney harbour makes it easy to see why Scott became a franchisee.
Again, we’d like to extend a warm thank you to the W. Short Hotel Group for choosing Jim’s Test & Tag. If you are a venue owner with compliance requirements, why not take a look at our appliance testing and tagging services.
